Indoor Arena Construction Tips & Advice 2019

ELD recommend the construction of an Indoor Arena in the following stages to ensure the surface is not contaminated during the shed construction phase.

Stage 1: Earthworks & Sub-Base Construction

Stage 2: Shed Construction

Stage 3: Trades: Electrical, Plumbing, Water Reticulation, Fencing/Walls.

Stage 4: Riding Surface

An extra 2 metres outside the Riding Surface length and width is recommended to assist with protection from the weather and elements. This also allows room for fencing/walls around the riding surface.

Always ensure your shed design is suited to your location including wind ratings and soil types. Also take into consideration Summer Temperatures and Humidity and Winter winds.
